FDA - Cybersecurity Vulnerabilities Identified in St. Jude Medical's Implantable Cardiac Devices

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) released a safety communication regarding cybersecurity vulnerabilities reported in St. Jude Medical's implantable cardiac devices as well as corresponding Merlin@home transmitters. This communication was in response to research that was verified by Bishop Fox, which indicated that the devices were exploitable.

St. Jude Medical has issued a software patch in tandem with the FDA statement.
