This year's WOPR Summit in Atlantic City brought together talks and presentations from all sections of the hacking world. In the Hackaday article WOPR: Security Loses Some of Its Obscurity, Security Analyst Kelly Albrink’s talk Ham Hacks: Breaking Into Software Defined Radio is highlighted for addressing security implications in some of today's technologies. In her presentation, Kelly discussed the basics of radio communications, the hardware and software aspects needed to intercept signals, and some amazing stories of how people have used SDR to hack into doors, phones, and planes.
